Peter Reidy | Chief Executive Officer @ KiwiRail
BOARD CHAIR
Peter Reidy is an experienced chief executive and board chair with a career spanning infrastructure, transport, construction, energy, and logistics across Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. He is currently Chief Executive Officer of KiwiRail, where he leads large-scale transformation market growth, asset investment, and leadership development to deliver long-term commercial and public value. Peter brings deep expertise in organisational turnaround, system-level leadership, and people development, with a strong commitment to building sustainable capability for future generations. As Chair of the BCT Board, he provides strategic stewardship, governance leadership, and a clear focus on impact for rangatahi and communities.Year joined the BCT board: 2022

Patrick Tuipulotu | Professional Rugby Player @ Blues and All Blacks
BOARD MEMBER
Patrick Tuipulotu is a senior professional rugby player, Blues and All Blacks Captain, and respected leader within high-performance sport in Aotearoa New Zealand. Beyond his on-field leadership, Patrick was the catalyst for what would become Blues Charitable Trust, driven by a desire to create something enduring for the community with a 100-plus year legacy. He took this vision to then-Blues CEO Andrew Hore, planting the seed for a values-led organisation grounded in service, opportunity, and long-term impact. Patrick’s commitment to community, leadership by example, and future-focused thinking continues to shape BCT’s purpose and kaupapa, ensuring rangatahi remain at the heart of the Trust’s work.Year joined the BCT board: 2022

Andrew Hore
BOARD MEMBER
Andrew Hore is a senior sports and commercial executive with extensive experience leading high-performance organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Blues Rugby and intentionally stepped away from the role at the end of 2025, following a period of strong organisational and cultural leadership. Andrew brings his experience in strategy, people leadership, and performance into all that he does, with a positive impact for broader business context. Andrew instigated the birth of the BCT and has continued to be a long-standing supporter as a not-for-profit grounded in Blues values and community alignment. The Board and BCT team were delighted to formally welcome Andrew to the Board, recognising the depth of contribution and commitment he has shown to rangatahi and the Trust’s kaupapa.Year joined the BCT board: 2025

Andy Roberts | Director & Consultant
BOARD MEMBER
Andy Roberts is an experienced director and consultant with a strong background in executive leadership, governance, and complex commercial environments. A qualified lawyer with international experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, and organisational transformation, he brings sharp commercial judgement and systems thinking to board-level decision-making. Andy has held senior executive and governance roles across hospitality and professional sport and continues to support organisations through periods of change and growth. His governance experience, including roles with Auckland Rugby Union, Eden Park Trust, and the Blues, reflects a long-standing commitment to community, performance, and sustainable leadership, strengthening BCT’s board capability and long-term impact.Year joined the BCT board: 2022

Jason Chandler | Director @ Procurement Partners Limited
BOARD MEMBER
Jason Chandler is an experienced procurement and organisational strategy leader with a career spanning FMCG, foodservice, distribution, and supply chain operations across Aotearoa New Zealand. He is the Director of Procurement Partners Limited, where he supports organisations to strengthen commercial outcomes through strategic procurement, change management, and operating model optimisation. Jason brings practical, system-level expertise in sustainable resourcing and partnership development, helping ensure BCT maintains strong foundations for long-term impact. A Blues alumnus, he played four games for the Blues in 1996 and was part of the inaugural Super 12 championship-winning team, bringing a deep personal connection to the Trust’s kaupapa and community.

Nikhil Ravishankar | Chief Executive Officer @ Air New Zealand

Nikhil Ravishankar is an experienced chief executive and transformation leader with a career spanning aviation, technology, telecommunications, energy, and management consulting in Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally. He is Chief Executive Officer of Air New Zealand, having previously served as Chief Digital Officer, where he led major digital, technology, and innovation programmes across the organisation. Nikhil brings deep expertise in strategy, large-scale business transformation, and stakeholder leadership, supporting BCT with strong system-level thinking and future-focused governance.

Peter Thompson is one of New Zealand’s most experienced real estate and business leaders, with more than four decades at Barfoot & Thompson, Auckland’s leading real estate company. As Managing Director since 2005, he has guided the organisation through sustained growth, market cycles, and generational change, building a values-led business with a strong focus on people, reputation, and long-term stewardship. Peter brings deep governance experience through longstanding directorships across the property and business sectors, including realestate.co.nz, the NZ Realtors Association, and the Auckland Business Chamber. His commercial insight, commitment to community, and long-term perspective strengthen BCT’s governance and its ability to create enduring impact for future generations.

Roger Mortimer is a performance and leadership specialist with over 30 years’ experience working alongside elite athletes, coaches, and performance leaders across professional sport in Aotearoa New Zealand. He is Co-Founder of Create Holistic Performance, where he focuses on developing leaders, teams, and organisations to perform sustainably by balancing challenge, clarity, and collaboration. Roger brings deep expertise in holistic performance, leadership development, and environment design, grounded in strong relational trust and practical application. His experience strengthens BCT’s ability to support rangatahi to build confidence, resilience, and capability within high-expectation, supportive environments.

Shana Malio-Satele | General Manager @ Le Afio’aga o Aotearoa
BOARD MEMBER
Shana Malio-Satele is a highly regarded youth development and community leader with over a decade of experience working across social services, health, and government systems in Aotearoa New Zealand. She is General Manager of Le Afio’aga o Aotearoa and brings deep expertise in translating strategy into effective, day-to-day delivery within complex, community-led environments. Shana has held senior leadership and governance roles across organisations including ACC, the Ministry of Social Development, and national youth initiatives, with a strong focus on equity, wellbeing, and culturally grounded outcomes. Her experience in Pasifika leadership, governance, and systems change strengthens BCT’s ability to deliver meaningful, sustainable impact for rangatahi and whānau.
